A while back somebody posted a link pants similar to the Bear Grylls pants, just not his name on them. They were around $35 or so compared to the $80 for the Bear pants.

Thanks

I have a pair of Craghoppers that I like. It's the same company that makes the Bear Gryll's branded pants. Only they're in the 50-60 40-70 dollar range. link

Check out a company called "Railriders", the pant is called the Versa Tech. They have a light weight version which is my prefered model. These pants are awesome; I have worn them on militarty deployments as well as numerous long distance backpacking trips out west. They are light, dry lightening fast and are tough as hell. I think you can get them for $65. Well worth it IMO.

I have a pair of lightweight railriders. A little pricey but nice design, durable, fast drying.

Check out Woolrich brand too! My favorite cargo pants for shooting, backpacking, hunting, you name it ,anything outdoors. I went through several pairs of 5.11s, Blackhawk and others, before I found Woolrich, now I wont buy anything else. Think rugged like BDUs.

Also look at Railriders "Rock Jeans" ––- Nylon canvas cut like loose -fitting jeans, very abrasion resistant, reinforced at wear points, and, unlike some RR pants, actually accomodate a regular belt ...
