Need advice on Honda EU200i. Can I run Mobil Syntec 10W30 through the unit AFTER conventional oil has already cycled through?

It has not been used yet.

Thanks Guys

no reason you can't but why put it in a 31/2 horse motor? It will last many years on reg oil.

When I bough my Honda they told me to change the oil after 100 hours of use. They recomended sythetic 10W30 although did not mention Mobil by name.

I run Mobil One in mine. It doesn't hold but a cup anyhow, so I figure why not?

After the first 50 hrs, I am running amsoil 10w30 in my eu2000i..

The way i look at it is that when it runs, it runs hard - and for no more money that an oil change costs I can afford the Amsoil

I have a " Yamaha EF2000iS ", and use the same oil , that I use for both of my " SUV " ; Mobile 1 / 5w40.

It runs hard ,and heats up pretty fast,, with very liitle airflow to keep it cool !

Just my two cents !

Just fired up/used my Yamaha EF2000iS yesterday with Mobil 1 10w30.

Really like the LP adapter, how many hours from a 20lb tank?

I've had it for about two years, bought it new from " U.S. Carburetor " & I haven't been able to reliably keep it running on " Propane " ... Its really annoying me
I don't know what I'm doing wrong !

Although , ... Works " GREAT ON GASOLINE ".. !

I'm amazed at how little gasoline it uses.

I'm very pleased with it overall,,, I just hate the smell of " Gasoline Fumes " & really don't want to transport any for my camping trips !
I prefer to use " Propane " for all of my needs.

i.e.: Raindrop Trailer
1. Light : Propane Lanterns
2. Cooking : Propane Stove top & Propane BBQ Grill
3. Power : Generator ... ?

Really, nice teardrop set up. LP is a nice fuel source without the smell and danger of gasoline.

Maybe the wrong jet is in place (NG jet instead of the LP one.)

Don't know.. I'm going to haul it down to a local " Small Engine Shop ", to take a look at it somtime in the future .. I'll just have to live with it until then!
