are you in the military? if not, what do you plan to do with them? I have a pair of Bellevilles I have been wearing recently for the ankle support instead of regular shoes. comfy and lightweight. I have not tried them as hikers yet.
A lot depends on what you plan to use them for.

I used to wear Danners but I have heal pain and the Belleville Kiowa has been much better for me. I wear them everyday and love them.
Belleville Kiowa looks interesting. I like that the soles are flat (low profile) like the Oakley boots. I think that's why they are so comfortable.
How do they fit? Do they run a little large or small?
I'm a 10.5 wide but order 11 in Oakley since I wear Thorlos socks that are a little thick

I wear a 12w and that's what I got and the fit is good. They seem to run right on. Also check out the khyber. Just got a pair of those and they are just as comfortable and the sole is a little wider and more stable on rough terrain.
Buy the boots which can be resoled as they are cheaper in the long run.
I'm going to go with low profile soles like Kiowa or Oakley. Lug soles are to stiff and not as comfortable
I tried the Oakley and like them but they aren't to durable. I ripped the inside by the heal when I was taking my boots off in under a year of use
I think I'm going to try Kiowa.
While not resoleable, I have been happy with the Lowa desert elites or urban desert.

going to go with a low profile boot
I have a pair of Altama USMC hot weather boots and love them. They run a half inch to Large. I wear a 13 in normal shoes but a 12.5 in the boots. whatever you decide make sure they have vibram soles.
I have a pair but want to go with something w low profile soles
I stick with the oakleys, but i also had the same problem with the heal ripping inside. Alot of guys around me are running around with the Nike boots, they like them alot when rucking for time and in garrison, but they also don't hold up in the field. But i keep a pair of broken in altimas for when i am in the field. Deployed is a whole different story, i went through 2 pairs of belleville hot weathers when i was in Iraq 2005.
