Comes with the territory. I was on a couple big jumps like this and quite a few guys got hurt. Hope those troopers recover.

Yeah, Hohenfels isn't an easy terrain. Plus the gusty winds right now...

my personal experiences have shown that once the o-club has put enough effort into planning a jump involving multiple units, bad conditions are sometimes overlooked so that the timeline isn't f-ed up. units may only have birds for so long, dz may only be available so long, etc. this is where good judgement gets lost and joe gets the short stick.
