does anyone subscribe to "[service] Times"?

By that I mean the hard copy editions of the Army Times and all. I pick through the Army Times at the register whenever I go to a PX, and briefly had a print subscription to the Marine Corps Times years ago when I was in the USMCR. Half a year of the print edition is $28, I figure I have wasted that much on lesser things (like my last trip to the movies).

I got a 1 year subscription for $10 like 2 years ago, and they have yet to quit sending them.

when they do stop, I won't buy them.

I enjoy the Pvt Murphy cartoons and the opinions section, but 9 times out of 10 the stories on the front are shit that I already know or are complete conjecture that they're blowing out their ass to sell papers.

I used to have a subscription years ago, but gave it up when Fred Reed stopped writing for them.

i usually buy them when i am at the px at full price(-10% AAFES/px price) so not bad has some info and is usually good for 10-15 minute overview

AF Times is pretty much people bitching about this or that. While I do read it if someone bought the latest issue I will not pay for it.

I usually wait and read the ones at the staff duty desk. There's always good reading material there. I don't see the point in paying for a magazine that is full of half truths and boring articles.

According to them I should have been carrying an XM-8 like two years ago, they said it was a done deal.
