Well, quite frankly all of you ARFCOM Gals.

However, for me, the young Military wife that gives birth and must do the initial raising of their child whilst dad is deployed.

Incredible.

If not for the wife unit, I would have never seen "Coming Home" on the Lifetime channel. A weekly show.( or as I call it, "Chick Channel" )

Damn straight, tissue is a prerequisite to viewing this. ( Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen reuniting with their families.)

NO, I'm not ready to give up my "Man Card". Just saying kudos to the Military Moms.

Well, back to watching the cooking channels. err, I mean the Military Channel.

My initial reaction was, typical dick wad.

Thank you for your edit.

( If it were in GD, I would have laughed, ok, I still did )

Kudos to you, sir, for giving a moment of appreciation for those sacrificing here while their significant others are sacrificing there.

(And there's nothing wrong with the cooking channel.)

I have nothing to add to this, other than the funniest screenshot.... So I guess the perfect woman has to have a sense of humor..

I am truly sorry, but these targeted ads are just too much..

Coming Home is a tearjerker for sure. I have endured the end of Army Wives (HATE that show) to make sure I don't miss it. I love that the show recognizes the impact being separated from family has on the service member. With The Monk deployed I don't know why I watch it though .

Mrs. Monk,

Your Hubby is a true and respected Marine. I offered to send him and his fellow Marines "Care Packages"

Wether it was "Time Related" or simply "Thanks, but I've got this."

He never did e-mail me his FPO.

Just know that this Marine Family has you and your hubby in our prayers.
