I saw the fisher cat thread and started thinking about which one the bigger bad ass? The Badger or the Fisher Cat.
What's the hives thoughts?
The Badger can wait up to 24 pounds and the Fisher up to 20 pounds.

Tough call.

Badger - highly defensive, well projected against injury to vital organs, strong.

Fisher - agressive, quick, curious, tenasious.

I figure it'd be a draw with both licking their wounds after an encounter.

Both retreat to fight another day. It would be over in a matter of seconds.

The fisher cat is a natural predator, a born killer.

My money's on him.

+1. I remember watching a nature show when I was younger showing a badger taking on and holding off a full grown Wolverine. Badgers are tenacious to the extreme.

Having seen both in 'action', I'll go with the Fisher Cat. They be fast as sin and completely Psycho.

I saw a fisher on the side of the road dead this summer. I can't speak for badgers, but I know who wins when it's Fisher vs. Chevy.

FYI, it's a FISHING CAT, not a Fisher Cat.

A FISHER is a weasel like mammal.

Nope, if you check the URL it's from Cellar.org. They have an Image of the Day thread which has all kinds of neat pics:

I watched one on Animal Planet a couple of years ago, a very pissed off Badger and a Brown Bear in Yellowstone, The Bear ran away.
Then they showed another video clip of a Badger eating the contents of a Bald Faced Hornets nest

What are they fighting over.

Unless times are hard, they'll both skedaddle.
