WTF is this for... UPDATE w/PICS page 1 (Coon Dicks)

At the gun show, a vendor was selling "Coon Dicks".

They were, in fact, raccoon penises.

Price was $1.00 US.

My wife asked what they are for, and I told her for stirring iced tea.

What says the consensus?

UPDATE:

This particular vendor sold raccoon pelts and apparantly acquired the peckers from the same source!

A raccoon penis bone is the baculum of a raccoon. It is sometimes used as a charm for luck or fertility.[1]

For sticking in your pooper when you realize what a dumbass thing you have purchased and feel the need to be punished.

Even the most avid outdoorsman needs a dildo...as close to nature as can get.

For awhile I guess.

The penis bone is curved almost like a fish hook. I've seen the curved end sharpened and used as a toothpick. Evidently this was common in days of yore. The ones that have been broken and rehealed cost more because of the interesting shape and coloration.

Oh my lord, the worthless crap I have in my head.

I know ya'll will think I'm full of shit but they are toothpicks. In the old days they were used as a sort of non disposable toothpick.

So are there just a lot of bad "shots" in SC that the only thing you can show
for your effort is the raccoon "dicks".

Here in MN you can buy the whole hide.

GM

Same vendor was selling hides, skulls, and other such. Pics are coming. I promise.

My wife doesn't believe they are for stirring iced tea.

So for 1.00, I can get a toothpick that I never need to replace?

Zydeco is correct...people DO, in fact use them for tooth picks. (although NOWDAYS, Im guessing they are bought as more of a joke)

My grandfather has one that he has had for decades. (it is not sharpened for use as a toothpick).
He keeps it on his keychain...when people ask him what it is, he tells then it is a DEER CALL, and tells them to blow into it like a whistle to hear how it sounds.
