my dad is a Donzi man. he's always wanted one, but never had the money...

maybe someday when i win the lottery...

we have a poker run here every summer. our cove is ont of the stop points. there was one day the whole cove was packed with high-dollar gear. fountains, donzis, formulas. pretty sweet.

This is my uncles 100+ mph Hallett at Havasu. Twin blown 502's, open bow, mid cabin w/ video etc. It planes out quite a bit from where it is in this picture. You have to stand up to see where you're going till about 30mph.

Excalibur! When I was a kid my dad had a one off 32' Excalibur named "Lady of the Lake." That was one bad ass boat. It had a solid teak deck and was styled to look like an old Chris craft from the top with a seperate rear cockpit for passangers. The boat had twin supercharged 454's an could go in the mid 70's. The hull was navy blue and it had a sword on the side. This was back in the early 80's, I wish we still had that boat. The reason my dad got rid of it was because of the cost of refinishing the teak was astronomical and he didn't have two weeks of free time to do it himself every other year.

Buddy of mine had a SMALL 19' eliminator with a blown 540. ~1000 HP in a boat under 20 feet. 109 MPH with two people on Lake Allatoona in GA. 109 MPH (gps verified) is INSANE on the water. Considering the only thing in the water is the Jet and a couple patches of hull the size of a business card, it is FOOKING unstable as hell.

Similar to this except with two seats.

I used to enjoy watching the new cig owners haul ass and run aground at the start of every boating season in the Tampa Bay area from my modest cruiser (lots of sandbars, grass-flats, etc around there)...

ETA: And after a long day boating, watching as they have no clue how to dock the boat in a crowded marina, it is hillarious....

There will always be a special place in my heart for 4 things:
-machine guns
-muscle cars
-jet fighters
-cigarette boats

I think most people are born with it.

... Cool enough, unless ya seen the movie

... Still, I found it oddly peculiar that an R44 "could" perform a side-slip at the speed depicted in this video. Gonna have to show that to my fling-wing pilot buddies for authentication

FYI.. this is a Donzi promotional video of the the 38ZR (black Boat) and the soon to be produced 43ZR (Ice Blue Boat)set to Linkin Park and Jay Z. The 43ZR used in the Miami vice movie was hull #1.

Not a cigarette fan, all flash , one dimensional, upkeep is ridiculous
See to many accidents on the ocean here. Either the drivers suck or the boats belong on a lake
