Does Budweiser give anyone else a headache???
Regular Bud gives me a splitting headache after 3-4...this past week a buddy came down from NY and he's a Budlight man...well shit, had a headache every morning. WTF???
One of my college roomates always said it ave him headaches. I never had one from it. But he said it always did for him.
Pabst does that to me.
Takes about 1/2 a can.
Only when I wake up the next morning.
too much hop, eh?
It gives my tastebuds a "this beer tastes like shit"-ache

Yup, does it to me too. Within one to two beers it hurts like hell. It's your body rejecting bad beer. Drink Sam Adams and don't look back.

Yes, less than a can will give me a raging headache.

So, I don't drink it.

Nah, I like it.
Likely the salt content that makes you more dehydrated, though.
bud miller, most of the big names make me sick.
i think it's the corn syrup they put in it.
yes it does its becasue of the preservatives (filamdihide) put in the beer. thats why i only usually drink imports, corona, heinken ect...
Only when I drink 18 of them.

Life is too short to drink shit beer.
Yes.
Asswater-Busch products all have "headache" as a main ingredient, along with "ass", "horsepiss" and "Hillary Clinton's Douchewater".
Look it up on the label, it's a fact.
SG
I personally never had a problem. But my cousin says it makes her pussy hurt. Of course, she always goes to a bar, and never has less than 8 of them...
Budweiser uses inferior ingredients. Beer is not supposed to have RICE as the main ingredient. When I want an "American Lager" style, I'll have a Christian Moerlein or a Hudy Delight. Both use the correct ingredients without the corn they add to Miller or the rice they add to Bud. They use these as the main fermentable ingredients because it makes the beer cheaper to produce.
Yup. One Buttwiper gives me a skull breaking headache.
It gives my dad one, but not me.

???
Que?
BTW, Corona is nastier than any of the major US brands.
If you want fresh beer with no shit added to it (I find your accusation of what I can only assume is formaldehyde to be a bit ridiculous, but I digress), I guarantee you there are several smaller breweries with distribution pushed out to your area.
Only after about 12 of them. It never fails, two days after 3-4 Budweisers I get a gout flair-up.
Yep! That's why I drink Coors
i have never had a problem, unless i over do it,
however
i have grown tired of the taste, and have moved on to better beers,
yuengling
guiness
and tonite's drink, old speckled hen, (a most gratifing ale)
ok guys, here's the real skinny...
someone mentioned an added preservative, close but no cigar.
yes, there's an aldehyde involved, but it's not added, and it's certainly not a preservative. prevalent urban myth, no more.
what's actually involved has to do with the strain of yeast AB uses. it, more than most lager yeasts, produces (proportionally speaking) large quantities of acetyl-aldehyde. anytime you can smell and/or taste essence of green apples (it's subtle, but it's there) you know this particular strain of yeast has been employed.
why use this strain? because, when run through it's favored fermentation regimen (a fairly involved temperature step profile deal), it yields a very crisp & clean beer. and, statistically, very few people have an adverse reaction to elevated levels of acetyl-aldehyde. for those of us that do (and yes, i'm one of 'em) it's the classic "budweiser headache".
the things you learn on the road to becoming a nationally certified beer judge...
I HATE cheap american beer. Id rather not drink at all than drink that shit. I usually drink imports or small american brewery stuff.
I love Elephant, Murphey's Red, Sierra Nevada, Guiness, Heineken, New Castle, Boddingtons, Full Sail, and many more quality beers.
My hang over prevention tool kit? Large bottle of water, dense bread, and a couple asprin right before bed.

Bud sucks. I'll pour it down if it's free, though.
Coors Original, the stuff in the golden cans, is actually pretty good however (for cheap swill-it's a damn shame that Coors Light is so much more popular than the original, and the original is relatively hard to find).
Yes, provided it was chased by 12 shots of Cuervo.
I don't get a headache from it. But I can't hardly stand drinking it. Only if I'm trying to get drunk and it's free or extra cheap.
If I'm out to actually enjoy a beer, I go with imports or small American brews. My two favorites are Blue Moon and Killians (not a dark beer type of guy... although Newcastle is excellent).
Blue Moon makes me feel really hot and I will sometimes start sweating because of it. It's weird.
Bud and Bud Light both give me the screaming shits...

HELL YEAH !!They will give you a headache every time - if you " sip " beer...
Remember-
GUYS:
1. DO NOT use straws..
2. DO NOT Sip on beer with a " pinky " finger up. ( GEEEEEEEZZ ).
3. ALWAYS SLUG the entire beer before it gets too warm.
4. Stand up ... never just sit down and drink beer... go outside and build a campfire or something.
5. TRY TO KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR BUDDY'S BABE.
6. DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT WOULD IRRITATE THE POLICE.
If you still get a headache, speed up the technique of sluggin' beer.
Try dumping down 3 and slurp on the fourth ...

If you need help, Mr. Quervo will give you a kick.

Please don't goof around with the " loaded " weapons, while getting " loaded ".

Hell yeah, Coors Original is really good beer.

If I drink more than 4 Budweisers, I also get a headache. I could drink a case when I was younger, but it hurts me now. Coors does me right every time.
Killians Irish Red from Coors is also very good.
All beer and wine give me a headache. If I drink too much beer (not wasted though) it also makes me feel like shit for 2-3 days.
Now hard liqour doesn't affect me at all. I never get a headache, can get drunk off my ass and feel fine the next day. Vodka, Jack, Tequila, all go down like water. I think I must be allergic to something in beer and wine that's not in hard liqour.
edit to add: it's not dehydration because the other week I had two beers, came home and drank 1/2 gallon of H2O and then a gallon of gatoraid before going to be and I felt like shit for 2 days afterwards. No more beer for me, I'll stick to shots or whiskey sours, ect...
I don't get the headaches. I do get dehydrated, but that's my fault. I'll just drink beer, and no water or anything else, like a dumbass.
I'll admit to the TMI of occascionally, It gives me the shits.

All my friends give me shit (heh...no pun intended) for drinking Bud. I do drink lots of imports and domestic micro-brews. But, bud is kind of like McDonald's. Yeah, it ain't the best beer by a long shot, but I know EXACTLY what to expect from it, both taste wise, and next morning wise.
Bud = Headache in a bottle.
Most beer does that for me. But my drink 99% of the time is bacardi and coke...
Budwiser gives me head aches after just a few drinks, BudLight I can drink cases of and be good to go.
makes me shit .
People lowbrau enough to drink Bud give me headaches.

Bud doesn't bother me, although lately I prefer Coors Original or Keystone Ice for cheap beer. In general, I have always liked plain old Coors the best out of the cheap beers. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale has been my primary beer for over 15 years.
It's been said that Buds "beachwood aging" imparts tanic acid to the beer and this affects people in different ways.
Bud = no
Miller = yes
Coors Lite and Bud give real bad headaches after two or three. I prefer a beer with more hops, or if I want to go "lite" I'll drink a good hefe.
Yep, all it takes is one and I'll get a horrible head-ache.
Nope, it never gives me a headache. That's probably because I don't drink it.

You sound like my friend who has a yeast allergy. The yeast is still in the beer while the liquor has been distilled out from the material containing the yeast.
My friend only drinks hard liquor or else he feels like crap, too.
I'm also another person who gets a headache from a single Bud. It doesn't come until the next morning, but it sucks. Coors will also give me a very slight headache the next morning.
