Thought it was a lifetime deal...

In two seperate places I have read Chuck Zito "was" a member of the HAs. Indicating he is no longer in the "club".

What gives?

I guess when you stop showing up and riding around selling meth, you're not in the club anymore.

Hmmm, good question; I thought it was a "Blood In-Blood Out" thing with the Hells Angels.

"BI-BO" means that you prove your willingness to put out for the club by killing someone to get in and you are not out of it until you die or get killed; but I could be wrong.

It was always explained to me that there is multiple layers to the group .
The groups loyalty to you is dependent upon your loyalty to the group .

Start riding a Vespa.

The Angels will ask you to leave.

Read "Fallen Angel" by Barry Mayson.

He got out and survived a couple subsequent attempts on his life. I met him in Myrtle Beach a few years ago. He has a biker ministry now.

Depends on a lot of things. If you are a good member, been in the club for years and years, and want to move on sometimes you can. You talk to the Prez and other higher ups, they discuss it with others and you may be able to leave gracefully. Any club tattoos would be X'ed out, and you would be retired.

I had a customer who was/is a Hells Angel. He said there were varying levels of participation in the gang. After you've been in for awhile and you get up in years you can kind of slack off a bit. This guy I knew was in his early 50's so I think he was mainly still around for kicks. If you try to puss out, or fuck another Angel over, you will get fucked up.

Alot of stuff I seen and heard from actual Hells Angels I've met and from a bar tender friend of mine who worked in a biker bar, was that alot of the stuff you hear about the HAMC is total bullshit thats hyped up in the press and by law enforcement. Now am I saying theyre not a criminal organization? No. Are they people not to be fucked with? YES. However when they break the law they do need to be hammered.

Alot of the outlaw bikers I've run across weren't bad guys. You just don't fuck with these people or you'll be in a world of shit. Most of them are vets like me. For whatever reason they chose a different path in life.

Download retirement papers (.doc, .pdf or .xls) from their website, fill them out, have them notarized and turn them in any clubhouse. Wait four to six weeks and you'll receive a certificate suitable for framing through the mail. You'll have to decide what you want to do with your 401(k) contributions, though...

Why would you be surprised, it has the heart of a Harley.

The only one's I know of personally... was via the Federal Witness Protection Program!

guy down the street supposedly got out.

They owed him alot of money, and he was willing to let it go if he got out.

now he re-upholsters bikes and cars for a living, and is damn good at it.

A buddy of mine who is Sergeant-At-Arms [enforcer] for the Scorpions MC rode a Buell for a couple of years. He is a tough SOB, ex USMC, Vietnam vet, MC for life type.

Most of them are good guys, but they are absolutely involved in some illegal dealings. I don't hang around 'em anymore.

I think that if you were to write up a 500 word notice of retirement, and engraved it on your chest with a hot soldering iron during a club meeting, they'd probably say "Good enough. Enjoy your retirement!" and let it go at that.

I mean, who's crazy enough to want to stand in the way of someone who engraves 500 words in his chest with a hot soldering iron?

Turning state's evidence against them will be a sure way for you to no longer be welcomed by the club. However, that does carry its own set of risks.

It's probably just a coincidence that the 3 guys in my high school class that got into "clubs" are dead now.

My guess it that he pays dues out the ass so they figure it would be more profitable to let him live.

Getting out of gangs is easy though, you just gotta tell em to piss off. The problem is watching your back afterwards (BASH, EHS and a few other affiliated groups )
