Man Claims His Genitals Were Burned By Urinal In Arby’s
http://denver.cbslocal.com/2012/06/08/man-claims-his-genitals-were-burned-by-urinal-in-arbys/
The lawsuit claims that Dejoie was "utilizing the urinal in the men’s
restroom when it caused a jet of steam to shoot forth from the urinal
and burn his genitals.”
Dejoie claims he reported the incident to an employee who, according to
the lawsuit claimed "we have that bathroom problem again,” and "this
happens when the sink in the kitchen is running.”
I got nothin.
geeze..talk bout being in hot water.

I've been to places where the urinals flushed hot water. Kinda gross honestly

Never had this problem. Sometimes I get a chill if I'm not paying attention and let my dick go in the water though.
huh, i always thought most were cold, and deep
Where is our resident Arby's bathroom tech?
Boiled eggs no extra charge at Arby's
Wait a minute.
So, if the kitchen sinks is running hot water and it shoots steam outta the urinal, does that mean that the urinal backflushes into the kitchen?
meh it's like getting your ass wet when you sit on the seats, you just deal with it

You realize that all of the drains are connected, right?
The toilets at work flush so violently that they spray water all over the place. People flush and quickly run out of the stalls.

Cost cutting measure in a tough economy.
Don't ask where the chili comes from.

Yes, but the last time I ran scalding water down the kitchen sink or ran the dishwasher nobody in my house got steam burns on the crapper.
I dunno, maybe it's just the horsey sauce.

In commercial kitchens all sinks have to have a backflow preventer unit installed.
Where I work now if one of the food product pack lines is sanitizing, all the cold water in the building turns to hot.
Makes for a strange urinal flush with scalding water.

You are right, but that is laughable. Some many localities have no real cross connection control program. Wouldn't be surprised if health department complaints (suggesting bad food) was really plumbing contamination.

Cold water.
Same deal when you flush the toilet and someone else is in the shower. Available cold water is used to refill the toilet tank rather than moderate the hot water that's going from the water heater to the shower. So the guy in the shower experiences much hotter water at a lower pressure.
I am not a plumber and this is just how I *think* it works. IOW, talking out of my ass.

It doesn't matter. Wait until you have an injury where you pretty much piss straight blood, you'll quickly realize that when you go take a piss that stuff is going everywhere. It's going all over the floor, your shoes, clothes, you just can't see those little droplets when they're mostly clear.
I don't even really aim anymore, just piss wherever because it's going all over the place anyway.

Fortunately that hasn't happened to me yet but I was in an airport one time and the urinal was full of blood..like dark blood. I don't usually have a weak stomach around blood but I had to sit down for a moment after my mind started wandering about what type of condition could have caused it.

Standard TSA pat down.

That's the sink, not the urinal.

I've pissed blood on a few occasions from kidney stones and blunt force trauma to the kidneys. Looks terrifying but that's it.
