Shit, did you fill a 55 gallon barrel?

I would have. $3/gallon? Shit yes.

For that price, I would roll up my windows, and fill my car up with gas through the sunroof.

This thread is pretty much useless or BS without details.

Grocery store here has points card. Usually you spend more than $100 on groceries you get 10 cents off each gallon. They decided to do that if you racked up 1,000 points, you get $1 off each gallon.

Cheapest grocery store in town, so it's not like im paying that $1 in groceries. All around I'm a happy camper.

Now sign up for a credit card that gives you 5% cash back on gas. Use that credit card to pay for it, to get another 5% off.

I got $1.50 off per gallon with a 20 gallon limit last week.

Home Depot gas card, FTW.

Kroger's does this on a permanent basis around here. Various discounts that top out at $1 gallon.

The local Smiths has such a deal. If you buy $100 worth of groceries they give you some money off per gallon. I don't think it is $1.00/gallon, though.

Coincidentally, that's exactly what my truck holds. It wouldn't be worth the savings to go that far though.

Giant Eagle grocery stores in PA do a similar discount. We usually shop at Wegmans for the better selection and fresher meats and veggies, but the wife got a points card for Giant Eagle yesterday.

Many people only pay tax with the HD gas card. buy $4,000 in shingles, gets $4.00 off!

If you own a roofing company gas is most often on the house!
