Adding a "subscribers" column
It would be an interesting thread statistic to know how many are following a thread.

I have often noticed that the reason for contention in most threads is due to the fact that the majority of the players on both of the two major sides of the argument are wrong. I have tried a few times to bring some reason to an argument, but I sometimes just subscribe to a thread to just watch the meltdown. I suspect that there are other spectators out there doing the same thing and it would be interesting to see how many people who see a thread subscribe to it.
This would also be of benefit to sellers in the EE.
