My hbst didn't have a clone kit for this, but with a little research, came up with one that would be between a Blue Moon and a Shock Top. Brewed it on 4-17 and as I put it into the ferment bucket, had a gravity of 1.044 @82°.

I just racked it to the secondary and had a reading of 1.014 @70°.
Going to leave it for another week and then bottle. Had a good "tangyness" to it.
Here is a picture of my test sample

Hope it will clear up a little more by time for bottling. Might post the recipe if it turns out good.

All grain or extract? It's got a nice color to it.

A blue moon/shock top clone is so easy. Wheat DME, coriander, bitter orange peel, and enough bittering hops to get you to about 14IBU's is all you need.

I make one that hits about 1.050 SG and finishes at 1.014. 1oz bitter orange and 1oz of beat to hell coriander. I like mine SPICY with the coriander. Oh and the yeast is probably the most important. I use the Wyeast belgian wit yeast. I hear the Wyeast belgian wheat is also good.

Josh. how about helping a newbie with a solid recipe??

I've brewed one batch so far and it turned out OK. Still not sure of all of the details.

Thanks
