Placed my hops order for the year.

From hops direct. Seems I'm late, as they're sold out of Amarillo already.
Anyway, got 4 lbs on the way, will have to find the others somewhere else (if I can). I've still got a stash in the freezer too.

Grows like a weed out here. Smells good with a cold one in hand.

How long can you freeze hops? I assume that these are fresh, not pellets?
Do you just vacuum seal them and throw in freezer?
My LHBS has Simcoe in stock, and I want to get about a pound, but don't know how to store properly.

Nah, I buy pellets, they're easier (for me). Take up less room in the freezer too. They come in sort sort of metalized mylar. Yeah, once I open the bag I just close it back up and put it inside of one of those ziploc bags that you can pump the air out of. Kind of a waste to use food saver bags.
