50-6 row lager.
50 Pils. Still have some 2 row pale, so I should be set for a while. Bulk buying is the only way to go.

So, I'm making a Pils today.

get a decent price on bulk?

I really need to buy a grain mill.

39$ for the 6 row and 48$ for the Pils. Varies quite a bit. Last year I got 55 lbs of Durst Pils for around 40$, it's 61$ this year.

Luckily I can buy local, no sales tax or shipping.

Which is the key.

You'll make back the investment on a grain mill inside 6 months if you can do that.

Maintain a yeast farm and think about growing some of your own hops and then it's CHEAP beer whenever you have time.

I harvest/wash quite a bit of my yeast, especially since the prices went up (around here). I bought enough Lager yeast to do two brews and I'll pretty much be GTG for the whole winter (providing no infections).
