So I need a new electric smoker. I have a large wood burner that I use too
but the electrics are for the times I can't maintain it. My Masterbuilt just died.

Anyone have any good or bad reviews on theirs?

JMO, I would recommend getting a good temp controller for your wood smoker and then you'll have no need for an electric smoker. You should be able to set it and leave it all day.

I have an older model of this one, the SM008. I love it.
I would agree with Cookshack being good folks. I got mine used and had some little question how it worked. I called them, got a prompt response that completely answered my question. The guy asked me what I was planning on smoking and we ended up having a real pleasant conversation about how make jerky using it. It was neat.

They have a great forum with tons of recipes and advice on how to get the most out of those smokers.

I haven't used it a lot but my Cookshack has been very good. Plus, they are made in my hometown!

What happened to your Masterbuilt? Display work but heating element won't get hot?
