I'm facing a household emergency here. My mom's going out of town for two weeks, so I dunno what my sister, dad and I are gonna do for food.

My dad's cooking skills pretty much extend to only burgers, steaks, and chili. He also likes food way too salty and meat well done [XX], so I'm turning to arfcom for food advice. Any and all meat recipes are good with me. Steak, chicken, fish, pork, etc. My sister doesn't eat red meat. She mostly eats chicken and pasta. I've been meaning to start making my own pizzas because I'm tired of the chain stores and the shit they call pizza. So pizza recipes are welcomed too. We all like chinese food and tacos too.
I'll be looking through the two big threads here for recipes, but if you got something, just post here please!
It sounds like your dad is GTG.
Here is a recipe I've come up with recently for breakfast. You need a non-stick skillet, a lid from a sauce pan that will fit inside the non-stick skillet, & a cast iron skillet. Preheat oven to 350 F
3 strips of bacon cut in half, 6 pieces
3 eggs, cracked into a custard cup
frozen hash brown potatoes, about 2 cups, enough to cover bottom of cast iron skillet
shredded cheese
Fresh hot salsa in the refrigerated plastic tubs, not the kind in jars
1 tsp butter
Heat non-stick skillet medium-low, heat cast iron skillet to low-medium
Fry the bacon in the cast-iron skillet for about 10 minutes until crispy. Remove to paper towels & crumble.
Turn skillet up to medium heat and add potatoes. Fry in bacon grease for 5 minutes, and then flip the patty over to the other side.
A minute before the flip above, add the butter to the non-stick pan & brush it around. After flipping the hash browns, pour the eggs gently into the non-stick skillet and cover with the saucepan lid.
After 5 minutes, move the hashbrowns to an oven-safe plate. Sprinkile a bit of cheese and bacon on top of the hashbrowns.
As soon as you can, take the eggs off the heat and slide them on top of the hash browns.
Sprinkle the top of the eggs with the rest of the crumbled bacon and as much cheese as you want.
Move the plate into the oven for 3 minutes or so to melt the cheese and finish cooking the eggs.
Top with the fresh hot salsa, serve.

You will find a ton of good dough recipes and a lot of information. Has some handy tools also.
I'll warn you though you can gain alot of weight trying them.
My family and I used to make our own pizzas when I was growing up. We heated up tomato sauce in a pan on a stove. Than took soft shell taco shells and spread the sauce on them. Than topped them with our favorite toppings! I can't remember what we heated the stove up too or how long we set the timer (it never took to long) but they are good and you can make them how you want them!
Cheesy potatoes (you can get really good ones that are out of a box) are easy and taste even better when you cut up a sausage of some sort (such as polish sausage) and add that in!
Good luck if I think of anything else Ill let ya know!
Get a whole fryer chicken and some Bisquick. Boil the chicken with salt and pepper and set aside to cool. Tear the meat off and shred add back to the broth and follow the directions on the bisquick box for dumplings. Add vegetables of your choice.
