Don't have pics of the cheeky fellas - but I can get a pic of the pin they gave me... (Edited to add it's "SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL LODGE 351")
They were visiting the Minneapolis Valley Scottish Rite last summer... There were a bunch of guys that came to Minneapolis, but I only got to talking with two of them.
They were hosting an "Internet Lodge" thing last June, but several people in lodge paid to fly a bunch of them in to meet face to face in our Valley, they helped hook up network connections, and projector systems in our Minneapolis Valley's Red-Room chamber. We were able to interact with ceremonies between the Winston Churchill Lodge 351 via cameras & massive HD Tv Projectors... Was cool to see how the limeys do things a little bit differently, and their regalia is a bit different too.
Here's the poster that was posted up in the main lounge area at our Valley:
I got to meet two of the guys that came to help with setting up the network & secured high speed connection for the video conferencing and transmission of the evening rituals.
They gave me one of these pins to commemorate the Atlantic Brotherhood Summit with Minnesota.
They also took a riverboat tour on the St Croix River between MN & Wisconsin, but I didn't attend the riverboat thing - I had to work that day.
All said, it was an incredibly fun and educational couple days seeing how Lodge works overseas!
I'd LOVE to go there some day to visit them personally, but I'm not sure if that opportunity will ever arise in my life.
