Rejoicing in each other's prosperity

For post 10,000 (woot!) I would like to prematurely announce that I'm being elected Captain of the Boumi Shrine Motor Corps at tonight's meeting!
I already have the snazzy new fez. Not looking forward to the time commitment, though. It's as involved as being Worshipful Master again, but without the structure of the Blue Lodge, and it's 30 miles from home instead of down the street.
It's gonna be a good year. We have several parades lined up, a toy run to the hospital in Philadelphia, a bull and oyster roast and will be competing in the motorcycle drill competitions at the International Shriner's Convention in Charlotte, then the Mid Atlantic Shriner's Convention in Virginia Beach.
If any of you Brothers will be at either convention this coming year, I wouldn't mind meeting up.

I went down hard last year showing up for practice. Don't want to do that again!
