Zombie 5k in temecula, ca. anyone going? (I put the hotlink in.)

I just signed up the wife, her cousin & myself for the "Run for your lives" 5k race taking place in Temecula, Ca. on 10/20/12. Any one else doing this race?

Yup, not to far away, and we got some friends out in ca. that are going to run with us.

I am in Casa Grande unfortunately. My work is based in Autsin, so I may just "happen" to be in TX the Friday before. I have a friend doing the one in MN and she is stoked. Races like this are hugely successful in AZ (ToughMudder, Spartan, EL Toro, Warrior Dash etc) so hopefully they will look to AZ next year.

Yea, I was thinking of trying the Spartan race in Chandler in 2/13.

You too. I did Tough Mudder this year and will do it again next year when it is back. I think one of these shorter "fun" runs would be a blast.

we are having a "Zombie 5K-ish" run here on base put on by the PJs for the That Others May Live foundation.
250 zombies, over 530 runners, singles and groups of four. My wife and I are running with a couple friends. should be fun as hell.

Cool! If I was ever in a real zombie apocalypse, I would definitely want some PJ's on my side!
That sounds like a big race. You going to be able to post pics? I'm going to bring my camera, so hopefully I'll be able to do the same. Are you stationed in Japan?

I live in Tempe if you wanna train some! I workout at the LA Fitness gym off Mill and US 60. Only thing is I might be limited on time cause I have Organic Chem course this summer.
