Zombies in the Holy Bible

Someone just told me this and I didn't believe.


Zechariah; chapter 14: verses 12-15.

12 This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day people will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

the bible says we're all sinners, what's your point? if you're born again it's irrelevant.

My point is that some people find jokes about Christ offensive. AND I am sure his father probably does not find them amusing either. That's my point.

I am pretty sure both Jesus and his father are awesome with much more advanced senses of humor than those whom you speak of, with sticks up their asses

IIRC, certain religious jokes aren't tolerated. I'm no MOD, but lets keep this civil and not turn it into something the OP didn't intend for.

I've never read the bible. I believe certain things, but no bible thumper. Thi sounds like a warning for the Apoc.

Any other Apoc warnings where the flesh will be dissolved?

It's funny, in a lot of the Zombie books, there is never word on how the Zombie plague started, just where it started. This passage lists warm blooded animal being victims. Sounds like Z-animals will be just as bad as regular Zombies.

ETA* Actually sounds like the end of the world with waves, earthquakes and plagues. Damn, the Mayans and the bible are onto something.

I was really hoping for something to happen on TWD with the cow. I mean, it's stomach was pretty much gone, but it was still twitching around. Couldn't tell if it was suffering or trying to get at Dale. LOL

there is a youtube video of christ turning into a zombie, but ill let you guys search for it since it might upset some people.

i do find the passage he posted entertaining.

I'd pack stuff up and on hour 3.5 head downtown.

I'd take my family "hostage" in a heavily fortified building with plenty of supplies and hole up. There would be just enough time for swat to arrive, clear the building, then get eaten. When I had to venture out of the building I would stop and pickup some nice guns and ammo and travel in gubmnt vehicles.

FYI. I don't have anything against the police or swat. But if we are planning zombie scenarios I figure it's fair game.
