So, I apologize of this has been discussed before, but here it goes....
If Jenner realy told Rick that evryone is infected already, does that mean that...
1- The "infection" (Jenner said that it was not a virus, bacteria, fungus or anything else he had seen before, so I will cal it "the infection") is airborne, everyone is a carrier until they die, at which time it reanimates the body? (Kinda like herpes simplex, it's stays hidden in the nerve pathway until the body's immune system takes a hit, and then manifests itself as a cold sore, and then goes back into remission)
2- The infection is embedded into human DNA, and is "activated" after death by some unknown reason?
3- I'm not saying aliens did it, but..................... ALIENS DID IT!!!!
Just food for thought!!!!!
In the comic, anyone who died would reanimate as a zombie regardless of whether they were bitten. The virus is carried by everyone and causes reanimation after death.
I don't know if that is going to carry into the TV series.
