LZ-1143 series
has anyone read the LZ-1143 series or any others in Amazon? looking to spend 20$ Amazon card on zombie books... and the kindle app is the perfect way.
I've read the morningstar books 1 and 2, DBDA books, WWZ... what else?
Joe McKinney: Flesh Eaters, Dead City, Apocalypse Of the Dead. My second favorite zombie series, DBDA is the first. Kim Paffenroth writes some good books too, but there are smart zombies in the 2nd and 3rd books.

Joe McKinney is one of the best Zombie fiction writers imho.
I take it Flesh Eaters is book one?
Zombie Fallout is an awesome series
I think I spent 15 or so on all 4 books.
This guys books read like an after action report/journal style. I really liked him because I felt like I was listening to a friend tell me a story over a beer. Just the way he words things make ya giggle at times when you know others might not get the joke. Hardcore marine dude
White Flag of the Dead is another excellent series in my opinion
*someone bought me the paperback version for book one, but the remaining 3 books were 2.99 to 3.99 each for the Kindle.
This series I would say is most realistic in regards to what would likely happen should the zombie apocalypse come to pass. Unexpected people stepping up and doing what they have to do to survive and keep their family safe.

I've been trying to pick up his newest Book Quarantined. But its really hard to get and expensive on all the sights like Amazon. Pissed all the Borders closed as Barnes & Noble has shitty Zombie / Horror type book selections.
