NRA raises contempt vote stakes

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) is pressing his colleagues to back Attorney General Eric Holder when the House votes on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress on Thursday, but Democrats are bracing for defections.
The reason? The National Rifle Association.

That's interesting, there are plenty of Southern and Western Democrats who live in fear of the NRA.

A government official not living in fear of something, is worth living in fear of. At least that's how I see it. Good on the NRA for holding these peoples feet to the fire.
