A friend of mine just brought this to my attention and thinks its the best thing to hit the market. I know nothing about it. I did a search and either my search-fu (AR15.com) for previous posts, and did not find anything. I have done internet searches and find mixed results. Any takes?
I have a Shib Inu and we are currently using Frontline + and Heartguard.
I use Comfortis with my Schnauzer. We have lots of feral cats around because an older neighbor won't stop feeding them and the bring lots o f fleas. After two hard summers of flea infestations, Frontline wasn't cutting it so my vet gave me one comfortis pill. It worked like a champ, and have been using since.
Those products don't protect against ticks. I don't know about other parts of the country, but if you live in the northeast that's a non-starter.
We do have ticks in our area. I usually pull a few off me every week...
Comfortis works great.
We have four dogs in the house, haven't seen a flea since we started using it 3+ years ago.
It works so well that we only give it to them every 3 or 4 months.
