R.I.P. BUDDY 3/15/11 ADDENDUM

I want to thank everyone who posted and sent private messages to me on BUDDY"s passing. It was much appreciated.
Now I would like to introduce you to his replacement. Her name is HEIDI, a 4 year old rescue. She so far is an absolutly a dream. Very well behaved and people oriented. She rides well in the car and like every new thing. Her only downfall so far is that she absolutely HATES squirels. I have only had her a day now and it is Heidi 1 squirels 0. Boy is she fast, out of the 5 Dobes I have had in these years she is the fastest. The squirel found that out real quick(LOL,LOL). Buddy also didn't like squirels by the way.

Very nice looking dog. I'm not surprised to hear she is fast - every Doberman I have seen has been an absolute lightning bolt.

Congratulations on your new pup, and sorry for the loss of your other one. My dobe, (gone 27 years now) hated squirrel's too.

Me too! My Great Dane (also a rescue) had natural ears.
I know I've said it before, but she was the best dog I ever had.
In my case , someone not wanting her was fantastic for me.
I miss her every day and it's been 3 years.
