Can anyone recommend a good book on Rhodes?
Fireforce by Chris Cocks is the standard for the Rhodesian Light Infantry. Bound for Africa by Hubbard is a interesting story about an American that joins the Rhodesian police force. Just go to Amazon.com and look these up and you will get other suggestions that have reader reviews.
