I'm confused. Why did he say "We are releasing" the mount when it is clearly a Bobro? Does Trijicon own Bobro?

In that case I had a new Trijicon mount for my TR24g months ago...

Looks like it says 'Trijicon" where mine says "Bobro." They have these mounts on their site as the tr124, tr125 and tr126. Looks like they added $25 bucks to silkscreen on the Triji logo.

It's under accupoint mounts at the bottom.

those low power accupoints with green reticles are sex on ARs, fantastic glass and crazy bright reticle.

I really want one too but a re-branded copy of a Larue mount is hardly new. yet another let down from the shot show 2010. starting to think I'm glad I didn't go.

Goatboy: Did they say anything about selling different reticles for their 1-4x24 Accupoint scope or any new 1-6/1-8x scopes on the horizon? I would really like to see an ACOG TA-11H or TA-31 crosshair style reticle on an Accupoint.

Thanks

It looks to me like the mount in the vid, and the pic of the mount on the Trijicon website, are both labeled "Bobro" on the top, lever side.
WTH? How can you "introduce" something that has been out for a while now?

And I was rather hoping that they were going to fix/improve the Tripower, but no such luck.

AMEN !!!

I HATE the Accupoint reticles (German #4 and Triangle/Post.) Why oh why do they put 'hunting reticles' on those scopes?

Very spendy mount.

I wish to hell they had a green chevron RX30, that would be PERFECT.

Just bought one of those 30MM 1-4x Trijicon GREEN Accupoint. It is a fantastic scope.

Because they are hunting scopes The AccuPoint line was designed for hunters, AR15 guy's are just now starting to see the advantages on this platform...

I was hoping that they would have done something with the Tripower.
A green chevron, brighter tritium, CR123 battery, improved controls, etc.
No such luck.

I have to agree with hoping for more from Trijicon, but I think going with Bobro is a huge move on their part Trijicon is cutting edge on most of the stuff they make and Bobro is definitely cutting edge as far as mounts go. For anyone that says it's rip off of an ARMS, LT, etc. take a look at one in person and you'll see the innovation, craftsmanship and tolerances and become a believer in their mounts.

+1 for a total goober

BOBRO may have the most innovative mount on the market.

I was there and talked to a Trijicon rep about the negative feelings on their reticle choices. He was completely aware of everyone's feelings and NO, there were not any new reticle choices for the Accupoint line. He didn't rule out the possibility of new reticles in the future, but for now the choices of a German crosshair or a triangle post are it for the foreseeable future.

Kool Aid is good!

Just what did Bobro "copy"? The biggest "let down" of SHOT 2010 was the lack of a Larue response to this. Bobro is likely to do to Larue what Larue did to ARMS if they aren't careful.

Larue had a superior product. Bobro has a comparable product that isn't as compact.

I really think the only thing missing from Bobro right now is their availability and the lack of products they offer.

When they finally make mounts for every ACOG, the aimpoint Micro series and a few more innovative products that use their system they will definitely be competing on level ground. Right now LT has the market on many items because there aren't good alternatives.

The only other thing is going to be time (people using, seeing and talking about the products) and it wouldn't hurt if Andrew Bobro was more of a spokesperson for the mount line in general, a lot of LT success is based upon Mark LaRue doing what he does and backing his products the way he does.... of course that is a double edged sword.

Ummm... the BOBRO mounts have 2/3 - 1/2 the rail footprint that LaRue mounts have.

Has anyone else noticed that they added a 4.5moa dot to the 42mm reflex line? Check out the RX34.

That's true, though the latch sticking out always caught my eye as being annoying.

You'd think, but it isn't.
