Anything at SHOT about Colt and Colt Tactical? Talk was new models....

No tactical but they've got a new DAO 1911 Government and New Agent that seems to differ from the Double Eagle.

All I saw was the same old stuff. 6920's and their monolithic rail AR they came out with 2 years ago

i asked the colt guys about "colt tactical" i couldn't get a straight answer out of them, other than they had heard about it but really did not know much more, that and the fact that FN is killing them with mil and le sales.

I dunno about the Tactical stuff but Colt has some EXCELLENT 1911's that will be available through their custom shop later in the year. They have a new pistol that mates an officers frame to a commander slide- novak sights and beavertail- about $1200. They have a new lightweight framed 5" gun- novaks and beavertail. I was VERY impressed with their new 1911's.
