Someone who attended the Thursday get-together forgot to pay their bill--

With all the excitement someone stiffed the Friday's place with an $80+ tab. PLEASE contact them to take care of it, as it makes all of us look bad.

Not impugning anyone, as I'm sure it was just an oversight.
Perhaps I should mention there are kudos in order for mrraley, as there were actually two parties who neglected to pay their tab. He was able to figure out who one was, paid the tab, and will collect from them. As he knows them, he KNOWS it was merely an oversight. He offered to pay this one, but Friday's refused.
Hopefully the party will see this thread and have a forehead-smacking moment.

It certainly was not me, as I even tipped the guy over the amount automatically added to the check because he weaseled a medium-rare burger out of the kitchen.

I asked and he said there was no description, and no idea who it was.
It was pretty chaotic for the wait staff, so it's not really surprising they wouldn't recall. I think most who were there did eat––save those of us who got there late.

Sadly it looks as though that's what we're going to do. Our buddy Cormorantslayer offered to cover it, but that is unacceptable IMO, so we're going to end up chipping in so it's not a big chunk for any one individual. It sucks, but it's worse for all of us to have a cloud hanging over us.

I haven't consulted with anyone since departing, but EdAvilaSr was aware of this at the show, and was very concerned, so I'm sure it's okay if I go ahead and authorize some way of taking care of this. If you don't mind handling it, please get with Cormorantslayer and do whatever you guys think appropriate. He offered to deal with Friday's, as he set this up with them from the beginning. I think the tab was over $80, plus a tip for the server, so it needs to be around a hundred bucks. Thanks for handling it.
I'll chip in, of course, so please put a link in this thread if you start a new one. If you wish to just use this thread I can edit the title, as it looks like the responsible party is not going to come forward (for whatever reason––hopefully they just haven't noticed this thread). Thanks!

That isn't right Ed. I would've hoped that the offending party would have stepped up paid the bill, but since he or she hasn't, we should all pony up and make this go away.

I'm assuming/hoping it was just an oversight. The problem is, it's a week today. Every day that passes makes all of us look worse.
IMO we need to get this taken care of. If they later step up they can reimburse Ed Sr. and I. Sound reasonable?

I have been in contact with the management at Fridays Front Row. To make a long story short they have absolutely refused to allow me or anybody to pay the outstanding bill.
I spoke to the same manager (Chris) that I talked to when I made the reservations. After talking to the servers that waited on us he confirmed that there was indeed an unpaid bill of $80. I told him that I was going to pay the bill and would provide him with my credit card number over the phone. He put me on hold for a few minutes and when he returned told me that it would not be necessary.
He informed me that he had spoken to the General Manager who said it wasn’t a big deal and he was happy that we had brought them the business. I told him it was a big deal because we (AR15.com) did not want this to reflect poorly on us. Chris said it did not reflect poorly on us, he further said that the restaurant is normally slow on Thursday night and he was pleased with the large group and the business he got from us.
I insisted on paying the bill and he absolutely refused to allow me. I told him that I wanted to at least pay a tip to the servers who got stiffed on the bill, he said the servers were well taken care of that night and they had no complaints.
So… Short of doing a reverse mugging it is resolved. I ask that if you are ever in Orlando to stop and give them your business, the Friday’s Front Row Bar is a part of the TGI Friday’s chain of Restaurants. I should be back in Orlando soon and I am going to eat there when I do. Although I do not remember the ladies name, I will remember who she is and ask for her. She will get a very nice tip when I leave.

Thanks for the update cormorantslayer. May I suggest that the arfcommers around Orlando "adopt" the retaurant as your gathering place..
