Will you be comparing it to the Trijicon TR24 by chance?

naw, this will be a first look at the optic, havent had a chance to test it yet.

Comparison will come as soon as I can get my hands on it....
but first looks say it will smoke the Trijicon and most others I have seen....

I've had a few IOR optics in my "cart", a few times. I've hesistated to pull the trigger on the purchases after hearing some pretty harsh stories on IOR's customer service. This goes back a few years ago now. Any similar feedback. It's premium glass, but if I'm to lay our $1K+ on an optic, I'd need to feel good about their after purchase support.

Look forward to reading your review, in the future, on their new 1-4 x 32.

IOR doesn't have the specs yet, but eyerelief is longer than an ACOG if I remember correctly

here's part 1 or a 2 part series on the history of IOR if you are interested. Part 2 will be up when all the SHOT fun dies down

I'm a huge IOR fanboy already

I always buy the 1-4's but have to mount them over the handguard at 1x so end up selling them.

Not even a SPR-E gives me the eye relief I need.

disclaimer: haven't tried the short dot or specter DR - way outta my price range.

Not until they start making 35mm rings. Until then, ADM makes 'em . . .

I think they've hit a home run with this one. I was seriously considering getting one of their standard 30mm 1-4 scopes, but I think I'll wait on this one to come out. It looks like the cat's meow for 3-gun competition. I just hope it's not priced over a grand.

ETA- It should be a reasonable weight since it is so short. Most IOR scopes are heavier than they need to be. It should also be short enough that an extended riser is not necessary to mount it on an AR.
