S.W.A.G.: Stuff We All Get

What was the BEST S.W.A.G. that you scored and who did you get it from?

For me:

LARUE: Tactical Dillos (I use mine everyday)
Surefire: earplugs
Elcan: Lenspen
Blood Clotting PAck
Hand warmer chemical pack
LWRC: SLP lubricant and bore cleaner

ETA:
I forgot the Spec-Ops S.W.A.G.
1. A camo tie with beer holder with the warning (aimed at me) NOT FOR courtroom use.
2. A Better BDU belt given to me by the SPec OPS rep when I had just bought some gear and I mentioned that I wished I had bought the Better BDU belt becasue my current blet was too big and my pants were falling down.

Sean, I've got hats and shirts for you. Sorry I missed you yesterday, bro!

The stuff I got was:

Really nice light from Insight Technologies. I had a nice long chat with them about maybe picking up some of their product line. Great guys and I liked the stuff I saw. I didn't ask for the light but was given one as a gift by their head of LE sales.

I saw the new Troy Industries vertical grip and asked if I could buy one. The Troy rep said they didn't have anything they could sell at the show. I saw Steve Troy later and went over to tell him what I thought of the new products and just chat. I had met Steve a few years ago at a range when he was testing out some products and he is a super nice guy. I commented that it was too bad people could buy some of the new products at the show and he insisted I take a vertical grip with me. Now that was pretty awesome. I told him I've got a demo later this week and we'd be beating up the grip pretty hard so we'll give him some good feedback on it including hard full-auto use.

My friend, Chris, with Glock brought me hats, a shirt, etc. Not as high dollar as the light or Troy grip but it meant a lot to me and was good to see him.

Tony Burke from Tab Gear let me take home one of his new slings to try out. It looks really nice and I'll be running it through the paces starting this week.

Got misc. hats, stickers, shirts, etc. from my buddies at KAC (Casey, you are the man!), Advanced Armament, Magpul (Costa, go take a nap bro!), Tactical Link and a few other places.

Special thanks to Trey Knight for the open bar! I needed it that night! LOL.

the highlight of the show was meeting the Band of Brothers at the ATI booth. I met Don Malarky, Ed Tipper, and Buck Compton. I bought their books and had them autograph them. Everything I got for free at the show pales in comparison.

Me and another guy from Americansnipers.org were on the way back from talking business with a vendor....I saw the three WWII vets signing books....and looked a little closer. I veered off immediately and made a bee-line for them.

The line wasn't big, and I was okay with that. I didn't have either book and decided that it was more than worth it.

My creds say my name and AS.org under that. No LE reference, at all. Buck Compton looked up at me and asked, "You in law enforcement?" Come to find out that Compton joined LAPD and went on to the DA's office.......all while standing in line.

They signed my books and looked up at me, like the ninny I was, staring back at them like the historical icons that they are....and I asked to shake their hands. I thanked each one of them ... and my SHOT show for 2009 was made.
