Shot 2011: Where's the ACR and Bushmaster?
End of day 2 and I haven't heard anything from Bushmaster besides a super-light AR platform. Where's the ACR and all it's accessories and at least one caliber change?? If I missed something please pass it on. If this show comes and goes without one big news release for the ACR it'll be a big let down for all of us who are waiting, not to mention sitting on a rifle that was supposed to have 'multi-mission capabilities'. I love the product, but let's get on with the program Bushmaster....
>> End of rant.
it's overpriced....that's where it is.
I'm surprised Bushmaster is anything more than a banner hanging under the DPMS booth.

I just bought an FDE enhanced New in Box for $1820. The price is down to reality.

That's if you believe anything made by bushmaster is worth $1820
That would be your opinion

they are the same company, so I can see why
that damn freedom group umbrella keeps sharing designs and imprinting different company names
I suspect that at some point DPMS, Bushmaster, and Remington will no longer be individual companies and that DPMS and Bushmaster will be absorbed by Remington into a single large company especially if the ACR were to become the replacement for the M4 with the U.S. Army.
I see Freedom Group as trying to become FNH.
I'm pretty sure there was a massive yet discreet recall on the ACR. I could be wrong or the recall status changed. Maybe they were embarrassed.
I was geeked about the ACR when it was the Magpul Massada but when Bushmaster took over, and the price just about doubled, I lost complete interest as did many.
People of Arfcom- holders of grudges.

DPBushington?
DPRemMaster?
The ACR should be no more than $1200.
I won't even go looking for one to fondle until that time. It might be a nice platform and all, but it has nothing that I need for $2k.

Bushmaster doesn't manufacture them they just put them together. The parts and CHF barrels are made down south in the same plant that the Remington military guns are made and the plastic parts are made at the Magpul plant.

You sure about that?

Meh. I'd be fine with this, as long as Remington gets with it & starts making non-fudded-up ARs & civilian ACRs.

No, it's $8-900 over reality.

+100
Might pay that if it had the promised caliber change kits available. You know, back when a decent company was to be producing it and they promised us these things. Oh wait, that company was only going to MSRP at $1000. Hmmm...
Beretta ARX-160 is my new bet...
