I just got a text notification that the mobile "apps" are done. The Iphone version is a true downloadable app. Looks like everyone else, including android, will have to use shotmobile.com.

The mobile site looks cool, but I'm not going to rack up a ton of roaming data just to use it during the show. If it were a true app, it could have cut down a lot of data usage, and I would probably be more likely to actually use it....

it would be nice if the work I did setting up my "show planner" on the website would be accessable on the iphone version. but nope, that info didn't carry over and I don't see an easy way to add vendors to the "short list" in the app.

I doubt it. Most hotels/casinos only allow wifi access to customers (with a paid room), and you usually have to put your cc info on file to use it. I also wouldn't expect the convention center to have free wifi for attendees and exhibitors.
