Which bands are seriously underrated, and when you mention them, nobody knows who you're talking about?

Example:
My favorite band that is seriously underrated is Safetysuit.

They look like average dudes, but they are incredibly talented. And their music videos so far have been pretty sweet.
Their radio singles to date are "Stay" "Someone Like You" "Annie" "Get Around This" and their latest "Let Go".

Mushroomhead is my favorite band. I believe part of their underrating is they have their own record label and they're considered more 'underground' then mainstream. I rarely hear any of their stuff on our local rock station or on Sirius.

Here's some vids...

MRH - Your Soul is Mine

MRH - 1200

MRH - Burn

MRH - Come On

My favorite band of all time is Iron Maiden, and they're not underrated. That being said, here is one of my other favorites that certainly are underrated:

Not my favorite but close. Yep I think their underrated: Coheed and Cambria, and Volbeat.

My 3 faves, totally underrated :

Swervedriver. No, I'm not with the band. Brit shoe-gaze, wall of sound, fender jags through Marshalls and a ton of effects. Good lyrics, hooky rhythms, and sweet sounding guitars.

Bolt Thrower: There's about a shitload a ways to categorize music these days, and these guys fall in that metal genre somewhere. Riff-tacular! Sounds like a juggernaut going to kill something.

Chavez: Indie rock I guess, more guitars being tortured, not too up in your face. They used to open for Guided by Voices. "Gone Glimmering", is a desert island album for me, then they released the re-mastered, all the singles included, "Better Days Will haunt You". This is the one I'm taking on the island.

All of my favorite bands are fairly little known, and 'underrated' in my opinion.
