I was on ebay the other day looking for a replacement display for an old Quadraverb GT that I have had for years. I couldn't help but notice that the prices of the used rack mount stuff seems to have gone up quite a bit since I looked at them earlier in the year. Is this stuff making a comeback?

I suppose it's possible. There are more amps on the market these days that have MIDI switching & using them in conjunction with a good transparent processor & a MIDI foot controller is the way to go, imho.

The day I find a VHT 2/50/2 for sub $1000 would be my lucky day. Bought one in great condition off ebay for $800, and now I can never find any cheaper than $1200....wish I never sold it even though I don't play as much anymore.
I loved playing w/ rack gear. Always thought it was better to customize your tone using them.

I just checked and you are def right. I scored 3 Drawmer DS201s and 3 Drawmer DL251s for the price of a new DL251. 
That was about six months ago. Man, Drawmer stuff is soooo sweet!
