We used to do that in 02, until we saw the aftermath.
Little kids would pick up the candy, and then totally get decked by older kids, who would get cold cocked by adults.
But i woukd land an MRE bag candy bomb into a kids lap from 500 AGL and 100 kts
After that we stuck to feeding the locals all the PORK chow mein they could eat.
