I've have been smoking cigars for awhile but they are getting to expensive with my new house. Is there any tobacco out thats taste like a full body cigar? I purchased a bag of The Good Stuff Red and it sucks!

you didn't get pipe tobacco... you got tobacco for rolling your own cigs, hence the cig taste...

just go to any cvs or walgreens or wally world and get some pipe tobacco there...

once you have tried that and you like it go onto the tins and such from the internets or a B&M in your area...

also stop smoking that stuff, its very bad for you unless you smoke it as a cig

Look for C&D tobacco...some of them have cigar leaf in the blend.

If you are not looking for sweet, go for the English blends.
More smoky, earthy and less sugar.

And the above post is correct....wrong tobacco there...

That brand was the wrong pick...and it is supposed to be a full flavor pipe tobacco.
It's not good quality.
Around here its like $8.00 a pound.

Find a B&M that sells pipe tobacco and then ask for English blends.
But you may find that lifting a lid or two and smelling what they have may lead to buying samples.
That's what we recommend to new pipe smokers...small sample purchases until you find what you like...then buy it in bulk.

They mark all those kinds of tobacco's as pipe tobacco as it get around some cigarette imposed taxes/fees.

But it is most undoubtedly for rolling smokes. Which is my most of it is more Shag cut that real pipe tobacco and is usually dryer.

That makes sense and IL prob adds more tax to cigs too.

Looking at trying a pipe soon. What are the storage requirements for pipe tobacco? Keep in the humidor or should it be dry?

Mason Jars... And no... it depends on how you like to smoke it. Some let it sit out until its almost crunchy, but still has some spring to it. Others just pack the pipe and light... find what works for you.
