Other places besides Cbid....

Just like its says up there ^^^^. What other places do you get your smokes from other than Cbid that have decent prices? I have checked out a couple of sites but they were asking just as much as the rip off artists B&M place down the road from me.

There are a few smokes I am trying to get my hands on that Cbid doesnt seem to carry and am hoping someplace else might have them at a "reasonable" price.

Yeah, I'm not very happy with cbid. I signed up and picked up a few cigars. I have received a relentless wave of spam emails from them ever since. Usually more than one a day, ridiculous.

I would love a better option.

I haven't received a single email from them other than my bid/shipping emails.

Oh I get 2-3 emails a day from them...

OP....try Famous and stay away from Cigar Sniper....that is not scarasm...I just dont think you should have to pay to place bids on something you might not win...
Famous runs a sub-site....Monster....and a bid site as well.

Hey, it was worth a shot.

I started a folder under favorites for cigar stuff.
Once in a while, I'll surf through them.
Most of the best deals are going to be daily, weekly or monthly specials at different sites.
Google shopping will also lead you to some good prices/sites.

You got to build up your inventory first, then you can wait for the good deals!

Best things you can do are:

Sign yourself up for email offers at the popular sites. It may seem like a pain, and you might think you're getting a bunch of spam, but if you're serious about buying cigars then 10 emails about crap are worth it to get that one email that has a deal you're actually interested in. Cbid in particular, I've scored some nice boxes really cheap from their "private auction" emails.

Check Joe Cigar/Monsters/Cigar.com daily deal every day.

Keep tabs on the Cigar Deals thread going in this section, become a member at other cigar related forums as well. Lots of people out there sharing the best deals they can find and giving up sources for the most hard to find cigars out there.

I kinda like them better than c-bid. Also the only place to snag the famous nic 3000's that are poular with some on here.

Sign up on one of the cigar boards and lurk there for a while. Most have a retailers section and I usually score some awesome deals.

OK....since you want to be like that.....technically....they have all four...it is all them...

Good price here, good price there....holy shit, what is that web site smoking? The joys of trying to get a good deal on smokes. After going through the sites listed, some have good pricing, some dont and others might as well be the B&M down the street. What really blows me away is when the B&M has better pricing than the web based shops. What REALLY sucks though is when you've already spent your load for the next couple of weeks and you see something at a screaming deal (the RyJ 6 smoke sampler for $27 on famous) and you are SOL because you cant spend anymore. Oh the frustration.

I check Monster's mash every morning. Great deals that pop up regularly on there.

11:00 AM to noon and 11:00 PM to midnight to get the daily look at all non-sold out items....

Yes. The prices on their site are higher because they have to advertise a certain price due to manufacturer contracts. Once they process your order, most boxes are significantly cheaper. I usually just stop in the store or call Kevin or Micah there at the number I listed.

they have a large selection, most anything can be bought in 5 packs, as well as boxes and/or singles, and shipping is free on singles, so its an affordable way to buy just 1 or 2 of something to try out, and not pay as much in shipping as the cigar alone cost, like is usually te case at most places.

I just want to let all of you know, I hate you. I avoided signing up for cbid due to the fact I had know idea it existed. I now know it exists, signed up and I will probably need off site storage to deal with it. I was perfectly content in my life until now. Any one up for a group buy of 110 quart coolers, I need at least 6 I think

My local Sam's Club had a killer price on them.
Big marine coolers...and closet shelving (the coated wire kind) fits perfectly...

Just sayn.
