Since you are in the spotlight where the shooting sports are concerned do you ever catch flack from people in society? Now, I don't mean through E-Mail since anybody can send a nasty gram, I mean at places like the gas station or when you are out to dinner with your family where someone would actually have the guts to say something negative about gun ownership to your face.

Years ago, one nut case called and left a voice mail about how I was corrupting children and was the cause of high school shootings. It was so funny, I kept it on voice mail for playback for about 6 months.

But other than that one call, I never hear from anybody other than fans of the show who recognized me in airports, or while I'm buying gas at Mapco, or looking for bolts at Home Depot, or picking up Harley parts at the local dealer.

Most of those folks are susprised to find me in our neighborhood in Tennessee, since we don't make much of our location while producing shows for a national audience. I don't know where they imagine I live, but they're usually surprised to find me where they are.

I think the simple answer to your question is that the "antis" don't watch the shows, so they don't know who I am.
