Not long ago he was chasing bad guys as a bounty hunter, but now he's chasing clays with a Benelli. We're Sighting In on Historic Firearms at the National Firearms Museum outside Washington, DC. to see the NRA's incredible collection of the guns of our history. Plus Allan Jernigan has a reloading tip to help you perfect your loads. And Jerry Miculek is teaching the revolver grip.

A New Resource for Concealed Carry Information:
Let me call your attention to a new banner on our links page at the website. It's upper right labeled handgunlaw.us
The website is an extraordinary effort by Steve Aikens and Gary Slider to provide a database of all Concealed Carry Laws in all the states and even the laws on carrying knives. They have an interactive US map that will instantly tell you what states honor your concealed carry permit as you plan your travels. Steve and Gary have done this work without compensation - there's very little advertising on the site. They simply want to provide the best information they possibly can to assist permit holders in exercising their legal right to carry. It's a terrific resource if you have a permit.
And the Winner of the M&P-15 Is:
He's Thomas Capel of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Thomas filed his winning entry on the last day of the November contest period. And now he's got an unexpected Christmas present arriving at his gunshop this week.
Meantime, the search for your present goes on, with the Mil-Spec M&P-45 in play for the month of December.
The Passing of a Founder:
We note with regret the passing of Louis Imperato, the Chairman of the Henry Repeating Arms Company. Louis and his son Anthony Imperato founded the company to produce affordable American made rifles in the unlikely location of Brooklyn, New York. Anthony Imperato continues to direct the company as President. He and his family have our condolences for the loss of his father during this holiday season.

I met the Imperatos at an event at NRA HQ several years ago -- great enthusiasts and very personable folks.
My sincere prayers for the family.
