The 15th Anniversary

This new season begins our 15th year of Reporting on the Shooting Sports. We’ll be celebrating the milestone all season long as America’s longest-running firearms series.

John Scoutten was working on the original series back in 1993 when we first began as American Shooter on ESPN.

Most of the rest of our team originally worked on that series when it appeared on TNN, and then on OLN.

Now, with both John and Mike Irving sharing on-air reporting assignments, we’re pleased to be on Outdoor Channel, celebrating the Second Amendment, as Television’s most experienced Shooting Sports Team.

We'll have some anniversary announcements as the season of shows rolls out.

Wozer, congratulations Jim!
You have a hell of a show, and thanks for putting the word out there about the shooting sports!
15 years! Course and old radio guy like me knows from that voice of yours that YOU have been at this for a bit longer than just 15 years!
Congratulations again, to you and your team.

Clown:

The other ones we once appeared on are now either anti-gun (ESPN - Spike) or more interested in attracting 16 year old boys as viewers (Versus).

We're depending on you to take control of your Television delivery system to get the programs you want to see. Cable has lots of competition now and a lot more coming in the next couple of years when the FCC turns off traditional analog television.

Congrats Jim!
Shooting USA is a great show and I try not to miss a single one.
I think I've been watching for nearly the entire time you've been on air! Of course I don't tell anybody I'm that old!
Regards,
