 Please work on Cox Cable to carry the Outdoor Channel...

No, I'm not ready to give up cable yet. Yes, I still request they add the channel. Deaf ears and no show still. I miss the show.

We have no influence with any of the cable systems. And Outdoor Channel is doing their best to be more widely distributed.

But I can tell you how to receive Outdoor Channel. It involves taking control of your TV delivery system which, in your case, will be changing suppliers.

There's a whole lot of changes coming in the next 18 months as we get to the deadling the FCC has set for turning off Analog Television. In February of 2009 everybody will need a decoder box to receive any TV at all. Cable knows this and they will be trying to keep your business, but they're getting a lot of competitors, in addition to the two satellite companies. Keep checking your options.

The Outdoor channel is offered in Florida by Cox just not on the basic channel lineup.

...but not in Northwest Florida. Why I don't know. I'll gladly pay more.
