So can we make suggestions for shows in here too?
I love the show Jim!!
I haven't seen much in the way of 3-p smallbore or air rifle shooting on the show before(maybe I've just missed it). Perhaps a trip to one of the several colleges in your area Univ of Tenn at Martin, Murray state, Tenn. Tech, etc..... They all have fine teams.
Just a thought

Please add an Old_Painless Box of Truth segment to your show.

What they said.
Only 3 of us requested this?
Oh, O_P's post has only been up one day, everyone else is trying to get their name on the board before the 40 page cut-off.
OK, I got that.
Next suggestion?
I show on the laser shot indoor shooting systems would be a good one also I have shot this system at Lauhorners in Springfield Ohio and it was a blast. They have hundreds of real video simulations and you shoot your gun at the screen and it reads the bullet strike and reacts. The prson will go down when hit fire back if missed. it is alot of fun in the winter when the range is covered with snow.
Thanks Jim,
I'd like a show segment on bullet traps & the technology currently available for building an indoor range.
The Box O' Truth segment is genius.
You could dispel a different gun myth during each show. It would be great to set the story straight about some incredibly stupid things that some gun owners believe.

Great suggestion Kooter. Hell, any of the smallbore/rimfire sports. (Do Americans shoot more .22LR ammo than the other cartridges? I'd be interested to know where it ranks on the list)
On average, a million rounds of .22 are fired every day.
JS
It kinda hurt my feelings that you guys were at the USPSA Nationals and not the IDPA Nationals.

You have a great show! Just keep doing what you are doing.
You'll notice we're running an IDPA Championship Show this week.

1.1 million on the days Odt goes shooting

Military type Semi introduction for the "Elmer Fudds". For instance an explanation and demonstration of the AR and AK platforms.
Brady/VPC statements versus facts.
How about covering highpower?
Oh wait, it's too slow/boring/no scopes/no benchrests/not tacti-cool/no cowboy dress-up..............

Did you mean the prestigious NRA matches held each summer on the shore of Lake Erie?

JS
Jim, great job on the show. I record the ones I can't catch and watch them later. I too would like to see some (more if I have missed some) coverage of both NRA highpower and CMP EIC matches. Maybe a segment on the CMP, its mission and its service and vintage rifle competitions?
Jim- Thanks for all you've done for our sport, your show is a, er...blast!

I'd really like to see some 3gun stuff/tactical shotgun pro-tips. IIRC there's been SG reloading/speedloaders, and transition advice on carbine to pistol, ect, but I can't really recall a single pro-tip segment on the mechanics of "combat" or tatical shotgun applications: barrier, weak side, ect....

Maybe not all you had in mind, but Michael Voigt taught 3-gun about two years ago. The transcripts are on the website:

Thanks Jim....I had looked thru the pro-tips, but not hard enough

.
2 years ago...yep, that explains it, I missed that episode. Baghdad TV wasn't much intrested in Shooting USA, it seems the daily live show was more popular

.
Glad to have you back and presumably in one piece.
Thanks for your service. And now vote to support those still deployed.
Jim
Both opinions noted.
Hey Jim
Good show. I really enjoyed it, my wife loved the incredible shots segments. When I switched to Time Warner I lost you guys, but I will be adding it back next month.
How about a few shows on the road with the military guys. Take shooting usa to the troops for a segment in the field. I think that would be great, maybe highlighting guns and equipment that the civilian market came up that the military benefits from. Would be a good spin on how the American shooting public pioneered advancement that benefited everyone.
Keep up the good work!
I used to watch your show ,but due to my screwed us schedual I don't catch it any more.
ever do any "class 3 " stuff. give a small explantion on the rules for owning them .then shoot a few MG's and suppresors.

Ditto That and how about a Katrina Gun Confiscations Segment.
I can't believe there have been no prosecutions from that. Made me do Life NRA. (I did it from the shootingusa.com link).
After I get done there my little budget will turn this way, but I had to do that first.
Keep the faith Jim.
How about less revolver stuff and more class 3 segments. Also, how about having Rob Leatham take over the stuff that Todd Jarrett does. I can't stand listening to Todd.
Interesting.
That's the first ever complaint about Todd's teaching segments... among a heavy collection of favorable messages. I'm thinking you should just read the transcript. That way you wouldn't be hearing Todd.
