Shooting USA & AR15.Com

We are proud to announce a new media partner relationship with
Shooting USA. As we've made initial agreements to work together, we will be including a
Shooting USA banner on the site to help drive traffic and support to their website. The show now airs on the
Outdoor Channel with new episodes beginning
September 30th at 10pm EST.
Many of you are familiar with
Jim Scoutten (left), who will be a large part of this endeavor, and who will help anchor a new forum to discuss shows, projects, and more! Please continue to make him feel welcome here and make sure to thank him for all the great work he has done in the past.
There will be a more formal announcement as soon as both parties are ready.

Awesome!
Well, it's good to have Jim OFFICIALLY on board, and us to be supporting HIM!
Semper Fi, Jim!
that's great. always good to see the site expand.
Completely off topic, but how many of you have seen Anchorman?
That pic of Jim just screams "Yes, I look good. HEY, EVERYBODY! COME SEE HOW GOOD I LOOK!"

This is gonna be so cool...
One of my favorite shows, and I can no longer watch it!

I am willing to purchase episodes for download, though.
Good news!

I don't get that channel

The Outdoor channel was not part of my DirecTV package, but i was able to add it for a couple bucks a month. Get with your cable/sat provider.
How to get the Outdoor ChannelHere's my detailed write-up on the options for those who don't get the channel:
Research on The Outdoor ChannelYou've got 10 days to get the switch turned on. But if you can't right now, be aware television is changing very quickly. You'll get it eventually.
Jim
I watch every episode. It's great to see an affiliation with the show!! This can only be good for both parties. Bravo!!!

Jim, we really have GOT to get you to come out to Bulletfest in eastern Ohio one of these years. It's like the Knob Creek shoot without all the snobbery, but with twice as many NFA shooters (or more). Not really talking about a show episode, just come out and shoot!

The only thing that sucks about Shooting USA is that they haven't let me win the Gun-A-Month Giveaway yet. Good to see new episodes coming.
Looking forward to it.
This is awesome; I've got the TiVo all warmed up!
Welcome on-board officially, Jim!

Outstanding, Jim.
Glad to hear this news. You have a great show.

That's excellent news GoatBoy, anything to help support Jim Scoutten's show is well worth the effort. Now I think I'll click on the banner and re-visit his site for a few.

ETA: Added a 't' to Scoutten, before he sees the misspelling.

OOPS, too late...he already caught someone.
I love Jim's show.
I like the mix of trick shooting, reloading , milsurps, competition, tips etc.
The best half hour on TV.
That's great news!
Good to hear that Bob Mundun is on the show as well.

Let me know when it's on Armed Forces Network, OK?
You know, like when HELL FREEZES OVER!

I'll just have to enjoy the After Action Reports here on ARFCOM

The Prior Series of Shooting USA shows ran on AFN Sports Channel.
We'll be submitting this series to AFN for air world-wide.
Jim
BTW: Two "t"s in Scoutten and it's "Bob Munden"
Bob Munden WebsiteI know, it's not in the forum spell checker, but quit with the "hooked on phonics"

Jim
... Best news I've heard in months!
... Fantastic!
Folks,
NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Thanks, Jim!
Awesome! As stated previously, best half hour on TV. The only way it could be better would be to make it a full hour!

Excellent news, Jim. I'm glad you're not on OLN this season.
Well there's another DVR event

That is just awesome!

I have watched that show whenever possible. first it was on the TNN network, then when that became Spike TV, we lost the show. finally our cable provider is supplying the Outdoor Channel. now all I have to do is set the DVR to record it and I'll never miss a show. Happy to see you here Mr. Scoutten.
Been watching since the American Shooter/TNN days!

Awesome!
Unfortunately I don't get that channel

That just made my day!
That is great news!
I love that show!

Jim has a look on his face that says, "Did he REALLY just pat me on the butt?!??"

i watched the show on oln good stuff. Now i guess i gotta try to get it on my cable network. I have that charter crap and its the only game in town so i'll have to fanagle it outta them some how, and welcome to the site officially sir!!!!
I wish I had a voice like Jim.
I have been lobbying for this behind the scenes for MONTHS!
Great news! You and your show are appreciated greatly here, Mr. Scoutten.

ETA: Major Update!!!!--
GoatBoy tacked his own thread. He makes the most major site announcements and won't tack them. Mods and staff usually sneak in a tack after we think he's not looking but he NEVER tacks his own threads. The fact he did means he thinks this is a HUGE development.
