Is there a way to hook up an internet ready TV to a wireless home network without going through the cable box?
I don't see any way around the cable box. I'm pretty sure MrsObserver wants the impossible.

Should be able to connect via your internet connection, if you cable provides your internet, then its related.
Just had my blue-ray freeze up watching Netflix, just had to restart it.
