Might want to check them out if you get a chance. I think I saw Brick was available for streaming on Netflix. The last one is from 1931, and the Criteron Collection did a great job restoring it, but it's still a little rough in spots.

A Simple Plan
Brick
Bringing Out the Dead

I remember first seein "A Simple Plan" in the video store and thinking "Bill Paxton! It'll be good for a laugh or two!"

Great movie, despite its lack of humor.

The entire cast did a damn fine job.

Another good one is Lone Star w/ Chris Cooper.

Brick is incredible. A very unique film, and it made me a big fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He's come a long way since 3rd Rock From The Sun.

This. I loved the fact that the the dialogue in the movie was straight out of the 30's. This was also the movie that made me take a second look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt's potential.

Seen A Simple Plan and Bringing Out the Dead. I didn't really care for a Simple Plan that much because it couldn't quite seem to decide what tone it wanted to set for the movie.
Bringing Out the Dead was good, if relentlessly depressing.

A movie I really like that a lot of people haven't seen or heard of is Frailty with Bill Paxton and Matthew McConnaghy.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that, but I don't remember it that well. I might have to check it out again some time.

An excellent movie, I recommend it to anyone that ever asks for a movie to watch.
