Any body do this? I'm done with Netflix, yeah the service is great.. but I just don't want to fool with the prices. With Blockbuster, I can rent the same for the same prices that Netflix was doing it for. Plus, that includes games too. I rent mainly for tv shows though.. I go to redbox if I want to rent a movie.
I've been doing blockbuster by mail for almost 2 years. Works great. I've had no problems. The bonus is you can turn the mail movie in at the local store for another new or old rental movie. IIRC, "swaps" are unlimited now, at least on my plan. I can have 2 movies out at any time. It runs about $16/month.

Blockbuster is actually more than netflix 1 dvd with no streaming is 7.99 at netflix and 9.99 for Blockbuster,2 at a time are 11.99 and 14.99 respectively,of course the games and new releases from Blockbuster do add value though..
I did use Blockbuster for a year or two at the begining of the by mail service and it is really nice if you have a store close by but they closed all but 1 or 2 in the whole state. The mailing was about a day slower than netflix is now but that was in 2005 or 6 so they may be quicker now.

Nope, I just finished a trial sub with BB. It takes 2 or 3 days for a movie to make it to me, while Netflix takes 1.
If there were still stores around here it might of balanced out, but they all closed down.
BB does have the advantage of video games and free Bluray upgrade, though.
